• The wandering storm bird. Said to be the souls of lost sailors, these roaming aeronauts glide endlessly over the vast and sometimes inhospitable Southern Ocean.  Seen as an omen of both good luck and bad, these occasional visitors to our shores perfectly embody grace endurance and fragility.
  • Lively, sweet with depth of flavour, this Apera whisky perfectly encapsulates the collective ‘personalities’ that have gone into creating this release. Krissy, Viv, Anna and Carolyn – women whose humour, encouragement and generosity of spirit continue to lift and inspire us. If ever all four were in a room we could guarantee Never A Dull Moment!

What is a Snark?  The Hunting Of The Snark was originally published on April Fools Day by Lewis Carroll in 1876 and no-one is completely sure what one even looks like. You can hunt a Snark however, “with thimbles, you may hunt it with forks and hope; you may threaten its life with a railway-share; or charm it with smiles and soap”.
  • Tapestry

    $185.00
The art of creating a tapestry is equal parts passion and precision.  In an intricate weaving of barrels, our Tapestry was threaded together using a selection of Bourbon barrels carefully integrated with Apera barriques.
  • Here at Fleurieu Distillery we rarely release single casks.  Don Quixote is an exception.  Sourced from one of our Barrels of Gratitude, it exhibits quintessential Apera matured whisky at cask strength.
  • A collaboration over the years between friends, Country to Coast #4 continues to be a limited edition peated whisky. This year has seen an exceptional pairing of casks from two highly respected Australian mainland distilleries to create a marriage of second-fill premium Bourbon and Apera casks from Black Gate and Fleurieu.
